The Genesis G70 is a compact executive car built by Genesis, the luxury marque of Hyundai Motor Group, and it serves as the entry level model of the brand, below the G80 and G90. It debuted on 15 September 2017 at a launch event in Seoul and was offered as a four-door sedan and, for European markets from 2021, as a five-door shooting brake. Its design was led by Peter Schreyer, and it shares its rear-wheel-drive platform and engine range with the Kia Stinger while using a shorter wheelbase and a conventional sedan body. Launch engines were a 2.0 litre turbocharged four-cylinder, a 3.3 litre twin-turbocharged V6 and a 2.2 litre turbo-diesel, and a 2020 facelift brought the Genesis crest grille and quad lamps. The G70 was named North American Car of the Year in 2019.
