The Volkswagen Tukan is a compact pickup truck developed and produced in Brazil by Volkswagen do Brasil. It was revealed on 21 August 2026 and is scheduled to reach Brazilian dealerships in the first half of 2027 as the successor to the long-running Saveiro, becoming the fourth pickup nameplate Volkswagen has sold in Brazil after the Kombi Pick-up, the Saveiro and the Amarok. It will be offered in single-cab and double-cab configurations and competes with the Fiat Strada, Chevrolet Montana and Fiat Toro. The Tukan is the first Volkswagen pickup built on the modular MQB platform, adapted from the T-Cross with a longer wheelbase to make room for the cargo bed, and it uses a rigid rear axle with leaf springs across the range to raise load capacity and durability.
