Ford Mighty F-350

Trucks and Commercial Road Vehicles

The Ford Mighty F-350 is a concept heavy duty pickup truck designed by Ford and shown at the 2002 Detroit Auto Show. It was the subject of Ford's first partnership with the toy truck maker Tonka. The truck has a 350 horsepower 6.0 litre Power Stroke turbo diesel V8 with a five speed automatic transmission and hydraulic launch assist. Its tough looking body has a high belt line and hood, a four bar grille that foreshadowed the 2005 to 2007 Super Duty models, fender flares that previewed the 2005 F-450 and F-550, retractable running boards, LED headlights and taillights and a fifth wheel hitch in the bed. It rides over seven feet tall on 22 inch wheels with 315/60R22 Goodyear off road tires. Its styling was used for the production 2004 Ford F-150, and the 6.0 litre Power Stroke diesel also reached production.
