The Maruti Suzuki Versa was a van sold in India from 2001 until it was discontinued in late 2009. It was the Indian version of the Suzuki Every Plus, also sold as the Landy, which is an extended version of the tenth generation Carry van. The Versa was powered by a 1298 cc G13BB engine, the same unit used in the Esteem, producing 83 PS and paired with a five-speed manual gearbox, and it was offered in STD, DX and DX2 trim levels. Maruti launched it in October 2001 and later added a five-seat variant. In January 2010 Maruti Suzuki relaunched the van in a stripped down form as the Eeco, with a smaller 1196 cc engine and an optional factory CNG system.
