The Hyundai Custo is a seven-seat minivan, also called an MPV, that Hyundai builds through its Beijing Hyundai joint venture in China and has sold since 2021. It is named after the French explorer and inventor Jacques Cousteau, and outside China it is marketed as the Hyundai Custin. Its cabin uses a 2+2+3 seating layout with captain's chairs in the second row, and it shares design features with the Hyundai Tucson. The dashboard has a floating center console and a 10.4-inch touchscreen set in portrait orientation, surrounded by a few touch-sensitive shortcut buttons. A turbocharged 1.5-liter engine making 170 PS or a turbocharged 2.0-liter engine making 236 PS is paired with an eight-speed automatic. The Custin reached Taiwan in September 2022, Vietnam on 15 September 2023 and the Philippines on 16 October 2023.
