The Rivian R1T is a battery electric pickup truck that American manufacturer Rivian began delivering in late 2021, built as the company's first production vehicle and marketed as a rugged, off-road capable truck aimed at outdoor and adventure focused buyers. It reached customers shortly before larger established automakers' own electric pickups, giving it recognition as one of the first electric pickup trucks to market.
