The Lockheed Constellation is a propeller driven airliner, recognizable by its triple tail and dolphin shaped fuselage, produced from 1943 into the 1950s. Used by both the military and major airlines, it was among the fastest and most advanced piston engine airliners of its era and served on prestigious long distance passenger routes.
